I didn’t really believe in “Tour operators”, as I plan my trips independently, till I went on my first “Tiger safari” this May to Tadoba National Park in India with “Vanya” Safaris.
To me, “tour operators gave the impression of being sent off like Chinese on a Euro trip, a typical scenario of being on a hop on, hop off bus, only to hop off for a photograph and not explore the beauty within.
And then Vanya safaris proved me wrong, as they gave me one of the best holidays of my life, where they ensured that it was more of a bunch of friends going on a trip, than a bunch of strangers. The thought and planning put in by Founder Amrit Rajaratnam is truly remarkable, for everything was taken cared of, from air tickets to transport to the finest hotels to food and beverages to photographic tips to of course the “lemon juice” we all waited for at camp and having spent many days in the wilderness with personalised trackers, that made this experience to the books of memoirs of Wanderess. (I’m talking about me of course).
Most importantly, Vanya safaris plans their trips from the heart and that secret ingredient comes naturally, for they are ardent wildlife enthusiasts.
Can’t wait for the next “tour” with them, this time to the Masai Maara of course!
Contact them for your next wild adventure, as they also customise tours to your requirement.
